Women For Orphans
Women For Orphans International, has been Creating a Movement of Change; Enlarging the Vision to Continue Rescuing young women and those with children, by Bringing Women together from every Continent to help prevent Homelessness, Abuse, Trafficking and Trauma.
In 2011, Pastor Nina heard the call to open a home in efforts to Rescue young women, many of which had been in the foster care system, and in 2016 we opened our First home for these women, and our first resident, a young woman who had heard about our ministry, came to us as she had been sleeping in her car, and had just found out she was pregnant, we knew instantly to bring her in!
Since graduating from our program, she married a young man who she had known as a teenager, he is a loving and kind husband, and a loving father to her children and recently had a child of their own.
Pastor Nina has expressed “Great Joy” in watching these young women and their children thrive with a New Hope and Purpose for nearly a decade. Pastor Nina says you cannot listen to their personal stories with a box of tissue, and says that during fundraising events, where many of these young women share their stories, there is not a dry eye in the house, and how those tears of empathy and compassion turn to Joy when you hear them tell you how having a loving and safe home not only for themselves, but also for their children, has transformed their life, by igniting Hope and Faith to accomplish their Dreams that they never thought was possible.
When Pastor Nina received the Vision (she says it’s God’s Vision based on James 1:27, Pure religion and uncontaminated in the sight of God is to Care for the Orphans and Widows in their distress”) during a Volunteer Seminar, she had the privilege to meet a young woman who years later became the first Lead House Parent of their First Home, and how she truly had a heart to care for children when she was younger, as she would help her mother opened their home to care for children in their neighborhood whose parents, for various reasons, were unable to give them the love and care they so desperately needed.
In 2023, the Lord began to speak to Pastor Nina’s heart to “Enlarge” the Vision by providing homes all throughout the world, and said how the Lord spoke to her heart saying, “You can have as many homes as you want, wherever you want’ and said she thanked the Lord and answered saying, “I want homes for young women and those with children in Every City, Every State, and All throughout the World.
In 2026, the Lord began to lead Pastor Nina to provide safe housing for an entirely different demographic of women and children who have been victims of religious, emotional, physical and sexual abuse. There are an estimated 60,000 to 100,000 individuals who have been coerced and influenced through fear and intimidation to become a part of these polygamous groups. These groups span throughout the Western United States, Canada, Mexico, and more are stretching out into other states as well, such as Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Pennsylvania and Missouri.
Studies say, while traditionally associated with rural compounds, many polygamous families now blend into suburban areas.
Enlarge the Vision was inspired by a verse in the Bible:“Enlarge my borders…” 1 Chronicles 4:10, and Freedom from the Oppression of abuse is found in Galatians 5:1, “It was for Freedom that Christ set us Free; therefore keep standing firm, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery.” Yoke in the Original Greek manuscripts (before modern translators) is the Greek word, Zygos, which means, Bondage or Submission to authority (or those who place themselves in positions of authority.) The word Slavery in the Greek is: Douleia: slavery, bondage. Jesus declares his mission to “set at liberty those who are oppressed” (forced into submission, and in these groups, those who use religious manipulation through Fear and intimidation) this verse is often quoted alongside Isaiah 58:6, which commands to “let the oppressed go Free, and Remove the chains that bind people,”
And at Women For Orphans we offer Safety and Freedom for these women and children by providing free housing and resources to helping them to achieve their Dream of Freedom, the Freedom Jesus Christ gave His Life for.
Every Woman who walks through our doors is more than her past, more than the pain she has endured, and more than her current circumstances, whether she’s pregnant, escaping abuse and trauma, she’s Welcomed without judgment and embraced with Love.
